seeking to hire qualified persons to fill the following positions.

Position: People & Culture (HR) Manager

Reports to: People & Culture (HR) Director
Duty Station: National office
Location: Kampala

Purpose of position:
To plan, review and implement mechanisms of attracting, developing,
utilizing and retaining the human resources in line with World Vision
strategy, standards and policies and labour laws.
Key Result Areas

Business Partnering with line managers/Coordination of the acquisition of
staff
· Monitor development and tracking of recruitment plans
· Fill vacant positions within the timeline and with quality staff
· Provide technical support in quarterly staff orientations
· Develop and implement job specialized assessment tests

Monitor the performance management of the individuals & teams
· Monitor the setting of performance agreements for staff at
National Office and regions

· Promote performance culture in world vision
· Facilitate development of performance agreement for People and
Culture officers
· Consolidate performance management information for use in
decision-making
· Management of performance feedback to employee
Monitoring Staff Benefits and welfare Management
· Monitor the appropriate implementation of the various benefits
such as; Medical insurance, GPA, SALTI and payroll management
Management of Staff relations
· Coordinate with Regional People and Culture officers in carrying
out HR wellbeing surveys
· Carry out HR regions support visits to address staff concerns
that need attention
Management of existing HR processes and systems for effective service
delivery
· Monitor the implementation of the People & Culture Information
System (PCIS)
· Monitor flaws in the existing system and initiate remedies
· Identify People and Culture officers’ capacity gaps and initiate
strategies to address them
People and Culture team management
· Manage performance of the team
· Perform supportive and specialized HR consultancy for the team

Knowledge, Skills, Attributes and Abilities
The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or
self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:
· A Degree with a major in Human Resource Management or Social
Science Degree with a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management
· A minimum of 5 years experience in handling human resource and
personnel administration issues in a large similar organisation.
Leadership skills and demonstrated ability to lead a team of professional
Human Resource Officers.
· Good interpersonal and team building skills
· Good communication and negotiation and analytical skills
· Skills in information management and record keeping
· Ability to learn fast and to work under pressure
· Must be a committed Christian
