Position Summary:
The Enterprise Platform Lead – IT Finance is a strategic partner to the
Finance organization, responsible for ensuring that core financial
systems—primarily JD Edwards (JDE) and related SaaS solutions—effectively
support business operations, enable growth, and drive efficiency. This role
bridges business and technology, aligning finance priorities with system
capabilities while ensuring stability, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnership & Value Delivery
•
Serve as a trusted advisor to Finance and Accounting leadership, aligning
technology solutions with business priorities and objectives.
• Partner with stakeholders to define and
execute a forward-looking technology roadmap (1-, 3-, and 5-year horizons) that
enhances financial operations and scalability.
• Translate business needs into actionable
technology initiatives, clearly articulating value, benefits, and expected
outcomes.
• Develop strong relationships across the
organization to drive adoption and maximize the value of finance systems.
Financial Systems Leadership
• Own and continuously improve the
performance and reliability of JD Edwards (JDE) 9.2 and other finance-related
platforms.
• Ensure systems effectively support core
financial processes including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts
receivable, and payment processing.
• Lead the JDE support function, ensuring
timely resolution of issues and a high-quality user experience.
• Provide hands-on functional and technical
guidance when needed to support business continuity.
Execution & Delivery
• Lead end-to-end delivery of finance
system initiatives, from concept through implementation and stabilization.
• Develop clear business cases and value
statements to support investment decisions.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time,
within scope, and aligned with organizational governance and SDLC standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to
deliver solutions that meet both business and compliance requirements.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
• Ensure financial systems operate within
established controls and support audit and compliance requirements.
• Partner with internal and external
auditors, providing transparency and documentation as needed.
• Uphold organizational policies and ensure
adherence to system governance standards.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
• Stay informed on emerging technologies
and trends in finance and accounting systems.
• Identify opportunities to modernize
processes through automation, integration, and SaaS solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives
that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capabilities.
Qualifications
& Experience
•
Strong working knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 (functional and
technical).
• Deep understanding of finance and
accounting processes and how systems enable them.
• Proven experience leading teams and
delivering business-critical system initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to influence
stakeholders and communicate effectively with non-technical audiences.
• Experience with SaaS finance solutions
and system integrations is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of leadership
experience in IT, supporting finance or enterprise platforms.
