Qualifications & Competencies:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
15+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle EBS R12.x as a Solution Architect or Techno-Functional Lead, covering end-to-end business processes (Quote-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Projects, Revenue Recognition).
Proven expertise in solution architecture, custom development (RICE/CEMLI), integrations, and system enhancements using PL/SQL, Oracle APIs, Workflows, AME, Forms, OAF, BI Publisher, and middleware/web services.
Strong background in integration architecture with external systems (PLM, CRM, MRP, Manufacturing, Revenue Recognition and financial systems) with robust reconciliation and error-handling controls.
In-depth knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGCs), application controls, and SOX compliance, including segregation of duties, audit trails, reconciliations, and automated evidence reporting.
Demonstrated ability to partner with internal and external auditors, remediate control deficiencies, and design sustainable compliance solutions.
Core competencies include: architect mindset with doer mentality, analytical problem-solving, strong documentation discipline, ability to work independently, clear communication with business and audit teams, and adaptability in fast-paced, compliance-driven environments.
Preferred: Oracle EBS certifications (functional/technical), IT audit/security certifications, experience with GRC tools, and background in public company environments, regulated industries, or Big 4 accounting/consulting firms.
