Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP aATP / gATP Consultant to lead and support complex Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Order Fulfilment transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Advanced Available-to-Promise (aATP) and/or SAP Global Available-to-Promise (gATP), with hands-on experience in implementing advanced order fulfilment processes, allocations, backorder management, and integration solutions leveraging SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design, configuration, and implementation of SAP aATP/gATP solutions.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable order fulfilment and supply chain solutions.
- Configure and optimize:
- Product Allocation (PAL)
- Backorder Processing (BOP)
- Supply Protection
- Alternative-Based Confirmation (ABC)
- Release for Delivery
- Rules-Based ATP (RBA)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, supply chain teams, and technical teams to improve order promising and fulfilment processes.
- Design and support integrations between SAP S/4HANA, ECC, APO, third-party logistics systems, and external applications.
- Utilize SAP BTP for custom extensions, APIs, event-driven integrations, and workflow automation.
- Conduct workshops, fit-gap analysis, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
- Provide best practices and solution recommendations for inventory allocation, order prioritization, and customer fulfilment strategies.
Must-Have Skills (Mandatory)
- 8+ years of SAP experience with at least 4+ years in SAP aATP/gATP
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA aATP implementation and support
- Expertise in:
- Product Allocation (PAL)
- Back Order Processing (BOP)
- Alternative-Based Confirmation (ABC)
- Rules-Based ATP (RBA)
- Supply Protection
- Availability Check and Order Confirmation Processes
- Experience with Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Supply Chain business processes
- Hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) including integrations and extensions
- Experience integrating SAP with external systems using APIs, OData, CPI, or Event Mesh
- Strong understanding of inventory management, order fulfilment, and supply chain planning concepts
- Experience in client-facing roles, requirement gathering, and solution design workshops
Preferred Skills
- SAP APO gATP experience
- SAP CPI Integration Suite
- SAP SD functional knowledge
- SAP Fiori applications related to Order Fulfilment
- Experience in Manufacturing, High-Tech, Semiconductor, or Retail industries
Interview Focus Areas
- Deep functional knowledge of aATP/gATP
- Real-time implementation experience in BOP, ABC, PAL, and RBA
- SAP BTP integration architecture
- Complex Order Fulfilment and Supply Chain scenarios
- Stakeholder communication and solution design expertise
Note: Candidates must have recent hands-on implementation experience in SAP aATP/gATP and be comfortable discussing detailed business scenarios and configuration during technical interviews.
