Senior Software Business Analyst

REMOTE

Contract 

 

Responsibilities:

 ●            Collaborate with Product Owners, UX Designers, and Software Engineers to define scope and associated effort of proposed features.

 ●            Elicit, document, analyze, and track business requirements from stakeholders.

 ●            Facilitate cross-functional solutioning sessions.

 ●            Translate business requirements into user stories ensuring clarity, accuracy, and testability.

 ●            Facilitate user story grooming sessions with UX Designers, Developers and QA Analysts to refine articulation of acceptance criteria and technical requirements.

 ●            Lead cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment between business goals, user experience, and technical implementation.

 ●            Facilitate communication between stakeholders and development teams to ensure mutual understanding and successful feature delivery.

 ●            Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies, while working to mitigate them.

 ●            Participate in continuously evaluating and improving internal processes and methods.

 ●            Develop a deep understanding of the application components and become a subject matter expert on the features and workflows.

  

Qualifications:

●            Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field OR equivalent work experience.

●            Ten or more years of experience as a Software Business Analyst working on customer-facing web-based software.

●            Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.

●            Demonstrated ability to facilitate discussion with multiple cross-platform technical teams and drive consensus in complex technical discussions.

●            Proficiency in translating intricate business requirements into comprehensive and testable acceptance criteria via clear and concise user stories.

●            Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and solutioning skills.

●            Self-starter with a high level of initiative desiring to be a member of a High Performing Team in a complex working environment.

●            Very strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

●            Experience working in an Agile methodology like Scrum.

 

Additional qualifications that would help you succeed in this role include:

●            Experience in Orthodontics

●            Experience or skills in Project Management

●            Experience in Healthcare or other regulated industry.

●            Experience collaborating with UX Designers.

●            Experience with BDD/Gherkin Acceptance Criteria format.

●            Experience in Azure DevOps (Boards).
