Job Summary

Client is seeking an experienced Network Security Lead with strong expertise in Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview, Firewall Security, and Network Segmentation. The ideal candidate will manage enterprise firewall infrastructure, implement Zero Trust architecture, design micro-segmentation strategies, and strengthen the organization's overall security posture using Microsoft security technologies.

• Configure and optimize Attack Surface Reduction (ASR) rules.
• Implement Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR).
• Develop advanced KQL queries for threat hunting and investigations.
• Automate security workflows using Microsoft Defender APIs.
• Improve security posture through Microsoft Secure Score recommendations.

Network Security & Micro-Segmentation

• Design and implement enterprise network micro-segmentation strategies.
• Support Zero Trust architecture and least-privilege access models.
• Develop segmentation policies for:
• Data Centers
• Cloud Environments
• Critical Business Applications
• User Endpoints
• Define security zones and control east-west traffic.
• Perform traffic flow analysis and dependency mapping.
• Reduce lateral movement risks through segmentation controls.
• Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to enforce segmentation policies.

Firewall Administration

• Manage enterprise firewalls.
• Create and maintain firewall security policies.
• Optimize and clean up firewall rule bases.
• Configure SSL decryption policies.
• Tune IPS/IDS signatures.
• Manage Palo Alto Panorama.
• Configure Cisco Firepower Management Center (FMC).
• Integrate firewalls with SIEM platforms.
• Design and maintain access control policies.
