Position Summary:
Hands on knowledge of Hyperion, OBIEE, Smart View, as it pertains to reporting who can interpret business requirements into sustainable reporting solutions in a rapid and changing environment. Works with business analysts and IT for collaboration on reporting requirements, support, application improvements and project.
Direct implementation/analysis of reporting requirement, policy and procedures as it relates to said tool set.
Responsibilities:
15% Coordination with various business lines and management regarding the usage and rollout of OBIEE and Hyperion to effectively support business functions;
15% Strategic execution of reporting systems to business line managers and IT for execution and maintenance of such databases;
15% Interact with IT where necessary to develop a harmonized reporting solutions;
15% Work with Business Analysts and IT to provide business units with reporting requirements;
20% Business Process Reengineering as it relates to the business units to better utilize reporting tools;
20% Provide and implement practical sustainable solutions to the end user for its specific business need/requirement.
Requirements:
Experience in IT and or Finance;
IT Liaison between systems and business unit;
Well versed in Database structure and processing;
Experience in queries and SQL, OBIEE and/or Hyperion smart view;
Information Technology and Informatics;
Bachelors degree.
8-10+ years of experience is required.
