Hi.
Today when I restored an backup from my previous rom, autoremote stopped receiving messages :-(
I can send messages to my other devices but I never can receive anything after the backup.

I have read in the beta thread that an new rom will change Googles gcm key for sending and receiving messages.
And because I reuse an backup, my autoremote thinks it is the old gcm key. Are I'm on the right track here?
Anyway is it possible to re-register my short autoremote key from the backup with my new gcm key directly from the autoremote app even if I don't have an Dropbox backup? Or is there any other way to fix this issue?

Btw. I really loves your tasker plug-ins.. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Are you using the lastest AutoRemote beta? You can use local backups in that version.

If you get that version, backup your URL locally, disable and enable AutoRemote in the options and restore your URL locally.
I think that should get you up and running again.

Hope this helps.

If you have a text editor installed, it'll probably let you share to it and then save it directly to a file. But yeah, the way you did it worked too!

Worked great.  Although I miss an alternative to save the key to file directly. Got all my send to action.
Had to send the key in a mail.  Cut and paste it back to autoremote.

But anyway it worked :-)
