Hi,

Sorry if this has been asked before but I have done a bit of searching and can't find it. I have a lot of Autovoice recognize commands. I want to use Continuous mode but only listen for recognized commands after a certain trigger word like the S Voice app.

E.G. I have a recognize command for "Say Hello" to which AutoVoice replies "Hello" but I only want it to check after I say "AutoVoice"

Now I know I could Just add AutoVoice to the beginning of all my commands so the recognize phrase is "AutoVoice Say Hello" but I want the following situation:

ME: AutoVoice
Phone: I'm Listening
ME: Say Hello
Phone: Hello

But if I Just say "Say Hello" It does nothing.

Is this possible?

Many Thanks

Not right now, but it is a planned feature.

Couldn't you use the "Last Command ID" feature?
Make a AV Recognized profile for "Autovoice" that says "Listening" and starts a new AV recognize session. Give this an ID in the context field, and then in subsequent profiles, use "Last Command ID" and fill in whatever name you gave the first one.

theoretically, you could even do that in tasker. you can have the profiles turned off, but when you say the activation word, the phone responds and turns on the appropriate profiles.

Apparently voice typing doesn't capitalize.

I just stumbled upon this thread searching Google. I know I'm a little late to the party but... couldn't you just set up your trigger word to do nothing more than set a variable? After that, using "if" conditions, set up your tasks to only run if the trigger variable is set. If it isn't they wouldn't engage. At the end of each task you could include a "clear variable" to clear the trigger variable. That would require you to state your trigger for each verbal command.

I don't understand, isn't what the OP said exactly what the description of 1.2.12 (Beta) says?

Or this thread is before that version? Would be interesting to add dates on the version changelog. http://joaoapps.com/autovoice/changelog/

Is there a possibility today to do what the OP asked for? I have Continuous only active when charging and I'd like to avoid trigger tasks accidentally and AutoVoice Recognized takes too long sometimes.

Yes, it's implemented now. Check the options in the "AutoVoice Recognized" condition
