Is there a way to pass on a phrase to autovoice via tasker?

I see the test command action, but it prompts for the test phrase.

I tried entering the phrase in the data section in tasker, but still get prompted for the phrase.

Thank you.

Hi there. What do you mean exactly by "pass on a phrase"? What do you want to do exactly?

Is there a way to pass on text (ex: Turn light on) to autovoice from tasker?. I know about the test command, but when I do it from tasker it prompts me for new text every time.  I want to have pre defined text that tasker can send to autovoice, if that makes sense?

Thanks,
Fletch

The test action shouldn't prompt you for text. You should just set the text and simulate the voice command that way. Can you export the task description (not xml) so I can take a look? thanks

Ok, maybe a screen shot will show you what I was trying to do.

BTW, the project I was having problems with was updated today. Now it works fine, so I am good now. But still for future reference, is there a way to do what I was trying to do?

Thanks,
Fletch

You should use the Plugins->AutoVOice->Test Command action :) That will work.

Hope this helps
