Hi there.
I suddenly started getting this error message when trying to send messages from my phone to EventGhost. The exact message is:

Error sending Text: "<text>" to EventGhost:
Error doing request: org.apache.http.conn.HttpHostConnectException: Connection to http://my.ip.address.here:myport refused

Of course "my.ip.address.here" is my actual IP and "myport" is my actual port. I have checked that the port is open on my router, and it is indeed (both TCP and UDP). Again, this has never happened before, and I've been using the same settings for months without issues.

Any ideas?

Can you access http://localhost:1818/ on your PC?

Actually, it seems like I can't ("Webpage unavailable" in Chrome). The same happens with localhost:80 and other ports that I have deliberately opened on my router. Any ideas what's going on? I'm not too good with this stuff.

It seems to me that the AutoRemote extension isn't running in EventGhost. Can you check?

Hm. The AutoRemote plugin is surely running. I tried restarting EventGhost to confirm. However, I can't send commands. The EventGhost log says "Result from sending request: OK", but my phone doesn't receive anything. :(

Nevermind. I just restarted my computer and everything is fine. I still have no idea what happened though.

Oh, and thanks for the swift response(s). Your apps are amazing and the fact that you individually provide the customer support that you do is unbelievable. Thanks again.
