Ok if i do a recognize voice, prompt comes up and I say "search for joaomgcd autovoice" I understand creating a profile to accept search, but how do i grab the rest of it as a variable. to do the actual search.

The above is just an example.
What i ultimately want to do is through profiles which i have setup, when i say change house temp, it asks what temperature would you like?, that part is done. Next it needs to reopen the voice recognition, and take whatever number i say and turn it to a variable so that i can act on it within the task.

How can i accomplish this, I've seen others doing similar things, but cannot find the step i'm missing to turn voice into a variable.

Hi!

I should really do a tutorial on this, this is being asked around a lot. :)
When you have an AutoVoice profile that has the Command Filter, "search for", and then you say "search for birds", then in the corresponding task there is a variable named %avcommnofilter available that has the word "birds" in it.
%avcommnofilter is the command you spoke, without the command filter you used to match it. :)

Hope this helps.

Joaomgcd,
As always, thank you. That is exactly what I was looking for I just didn't see it documented.

Thanks again for your amazing tasker plugins
