We are glad to share that, on 09.08.14, faculty, students and alumni of Sharavati Sangh gathered to connect the old days with present generations. Mr.Somanath. S. Biradar and Dr.Prabhakar shared their student day’s moments. We were glad to know that almost all the GNANAPEETH awardees from Karnataka and eminent scholars like Rajaratnam, K S Nisar Ahmed and other were invited by the Sharavati Sangh for various talk and discussions. Dr. Shivprakash and Dr.Pasha  were also part brainstorming and discussions on cultural activities, administrative structure of the Sangh, financial management, and maintenance of the registers. Many of them raised the question on the declining number of Karnataka students in JNU campus. It was recalled that there were times with more than 50 or 60 student but till date it has reached around thirty. Following were the concluding points:

1.       Writing the history of Sharavati Kannada Sangh

2.       Developing a blog or a website... (Mr.Devu, Assistant Librarian will help us developing this)

3.       Enlisting all the alumni by sending online registration form which will be attached to above said blog or webiste

4.       Planning and organising activities in collaboration with Delhi Kannada Sangha
