Hi All,

This weekend we have another event celebrating the Centenary of Indian Cinema - a Film Festival jointly organized by us at SAA and the Ministry of I and B - Do come - the films being screened are not easily available and are all very interesting. Also the Opening Film is a really a Film Studies film and all of us will connect with it in different ways.

I know you are all concerned about your presentations - but you will have one round done on Thursday - so you can give yourself a break and come for some of these films. Have a look and do try and make it.

Best
Ira

Dear all,

just a few clarifications. We will now have all the presentations on the proposals on the 24th of this month. It will be a long day but we will offer lunch and chai to handle the flow of time! This Thursday we can discuss the exact format. And I hope all of you know what readings have to be done for Monday?
