JNLua 1.0.2 (and 0.9.4) have been released:

The major change is a refactoring of the error handling in the native
library. Also, the Java VM module has been backported to the JNLua 0.9/Lua
5.1 branch, thus adding the ability to attach a Java VM to a Lua process in
Lua 5.1.
