is jni4net still active?

Hi Team,

We have evaluated JNI4Net for our use case where we need to invoke existing C# libraries from Java.

We get this working successfully . However any ThirdPartyLibrary used in our company requires some security approvals.

As the last major release date was 2014 for 0.8.8 and the last commit was on 2019, there are questions around the commitment to address any vulnerabilities (CVEs) if any would arise in future. Ofcourse right now there are ZERO vulnerabilities we found when we ran security scan.

We understand there is a difference between code that is not getting any updates and code that does not require any updates. We want to understand if former or later is applicable to jni4net.

Please suggest your recommendations for the usage of this library in 2023.
