NODES Summer Softball League

Hey Team:

 

Summer Softball is upon us. Registration opens next week and games begin on May 20!

 

I wanted to see what the level of interest was and preferences for game times and days. So how this league works is games are played either on Mon and Wed or Tues and Thurs for a particular team. So for example, we would never play Mon and Tues or Mon and Thurs. Monday games are always followed by Wednesday games. Game start times are either 5:45 or 6:45pm.

 

Since this is strictly a faculty, grad school, community, and health system league, there are a lot of teams so the league is broken up into American and Nat'l leagues. This is the grand daddy of leagues for softball at Penn. Please respond if you are interested and what days (Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs) and what time start (5:45 or 6:45pm) you'd prefer. 

There is a $250 fee for each team. This money goes towards a outdoor fiesta, cookout, shirt giveaways at Penn Park for teams and their families at the conclusion of the season. So if you have kids, nephews and nieces, this would be a venue for them too.

Depending on the numbers of players, the cost will be allocated accordingly and I will let you know once everyone has responded.
