load-balancing over multiple route-based VPNs?

Hi Experts,

I am reaching out to the forum as I do not have lab devices to test this out on.

Here is the situation:

1. I have 2 VPNs, bot going to the same peer device 

2. I need to load-balance traffic over the two tunnels

In my opinion, the loadbalancing should work without any additional configuration. As long as the route points to both the tunnel interfaces, the SRX would loadbalance traffic.

Is that right? If you disagree, can you tell me what additional configuration needs to be added?

You would need to configure ECMP in order to use two routes to the same destination at the same time.
