Dear Friends

All of you are aware, The world Amateur Radio day (18th April) is round the corner. We, the hams in Mumbai and around, have to celebrate the same with some On Air activities.

Last Three years we had conducted the Maximum Check-in to the Night-Owls Net Contest successfully and planning to organize the same in this year also. We are very much Thankful to our Net Control Stations for their extended supports during the previous contests. We extend our gratitude to all for the support and participation during the previous years.

Night Owl's Net Contest.
Description
:
The maximum time checked-in station/s during the contest period will be awarded .
Contest period
:
1st April 2014 to 17th April 2014
(Total 15 Night Owl's Nets)
The result will be declared on 18th of April 2014 during Net
 
Contest Time
:
Night Owl’sNet timing
(09.30pm onwards)
Frequency
:
145.000 with standard +ve Shift
(We have only one repeater operational now.)
Who Can Win
:
Maximum Checked - in Station in Night Owl's Net during the contest period
 
 
1St , 2nd and 3rd Place will be awarded with Certificates.

The First time on Air Stations during the Contest period will be awarded separately
 
 
 
 
Objectives
:
1.       On air Activities in Connection with World Amateur Radio Day.
2.      To Increase the participation of HAMs for the Nets on VHF and Bring New HAMs on Air.
3.      To Keep our VHF Frequencies alive
 
Requesting all to participate in the contest and motivate others to join.
