"Gopal Madhavan, VU2GMN, President, ARSI says - "I am now in Delhi and have been informed that, based on my letter dated
12.09.2014 addressed to the Prime Minister, and in consultation with the Department of Telecommunications, the Home Department has decided to
discontinue security clearance by the IB for applications from Indian and Foreign Nationals for the grant of amateur radio licences. This also applies to all cases pending with the IB for security clearance."
