Securing jmxtrans: Can Dockerized jmxtrans be run as a non-root user (without modification, without functional impact) ?

I'm currently implementing security configuration for a containerised environment which includes jmxtrans running in docker.

I'd like to know if it is possible to run jmxtrans as a non-root (un-privileged) user on the docker host without any impact to it's functionality and without any need for modification?

If not, what is the minimum set of privileges required for the jmxtrans docker container to run with full functionality?
