Fwd: Predictions & advice

12 days from now ---Saturday, July 11, 2015, at the Vienna Woods Swim Club, the Four Amigos (Roger Russell, Roger Williams, me--Jimmy Dickson and Steve Mason )  will race the 11-12 boys in a medley relay race (swimming). 

The race will be the last event around 11-11:30 am.

52 years ago in 1963 we set a record for 100yds medley relay that STILL stands

So, how about some predictions as to who will win ? And some advice to the Amigos on how to do well?

I  will go first with my prediction.  The Four Amigos will win----  We are taller, stronger, and we are Vienna Woods Warriors.

If Roger Williams just swam an IM  (that is individual medley---him doing butterfly, then back, then breast, then free, reme

ber )    I would bet my house on him.  The 4 of us---well, that is a different matter.

It is a very unusual relay where your fastest guy  is your breastroker. )

We got the VW boys  11-12s time from the first meet (6/20/15)

The Amigos were timed in Sept of 2014  at Oak Marr   

If we can each do a second faster than we did 9 months ago at Oak Marr---it could be a victory for the Amigo Warriors

So, do you think we will win?  Any advice?

We may not be as good as we once were, but for one time (25meter swim) we can be  as good as we ever were
