Today is Wednesday June 29, 2011.
The Twins beat the Dodgers last night by a score of 6 to 4 at Target Field in Minneapolis.
For Minnesota: 6 runs, 10 hits, 0 errors.
For Los Angeles: 4 runs, 7 hits, 1 error.
The winning pitcher was Brian Duensing who is 5 and 7.
The losing pitcher was Ted Lilly who is 5 and 8.
Matt Capps picked up his 12th save.
The game was played in 3 hours and 14 minutes in front of a crowd of 39,755.
Twins starter Brian Duensing and Dodgers starter Ted Lilly struggled, but after Los Angeles tied the game in the top of the fifth, Luke Hughes hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the frame, and the Minnesota bullpen held on with four scoreless innings.
Today the Twins take on the Dodgers at Target Field in Minneapolis at 12:10 pm.
Pitching for Minnesota Right handed Scott Baker who is 5 and 5.
