Hi,
While recording an application I was getting the below Warning:

contains unsafe characters, will escape it, message:Malformed escape pair at index 165:
message:URLDecoder: Illegal hex characters in escape (%) pattern

But, while Recording the same in LR it was working fine.

It looks to be a problem with the system under test which produces incomplete percent-encoded values, try enabling JMeter Debug Logging to see what is the full URL and report the issue to your frontend developers.

In case you're absolutely sure that your system under test works fine check "Recording's default encoding" in the HTTP(S) Test Script Recorder and make sure that it's either UTF-8 or the encoding which is used by your browser/system under test

And last but not the least, there is an alternative way of recording a JMeter Test - JMeter Chrome Extension, in this case you don't have to worry about proxies and certificates.

Hi,
As like you said, I had Kept UTF-8 in the Recording's default encoding. Even I was getting the same error message.

And If I try to capture using Blazemeter all the calls are not capturing Perfectly.
