Hi,

when I extract JMeter-Plugins 1.1.3 Extras set inside Apache JMeter 2.9 folder then Edit menu and Open file menu got disabled in JMeter GUI.
Although I can open files using the tool bar's 'Open file' button.

I tested with all other JMeter-Plugins sets and this occurs only with JMeter-Plugins 1.1.3 Extras set.

The problem doesn't occur when using JMeter-Plugins 1.1.2 Extras set.

Hi,

Try installing Standard Set together with Extras Set. Also investigate JMeter.log file for error messages that diagnose the problem.

[RESOLVED]

Edit menu was disabled somewhat by an error rised by Oracle JDBC driver. When there are multiple versions of ojdbc.jar in Classpath is thrown an error "java.lang.SecurityException: sealing violation: package oracle.net.ns is sealed".

Removing, or changing file extension of ojdbc6.jar from JMETER_HOME/lib directory resolved the issue.

[RESOLVED] (compatibility)

I've realized that JMeter-Plugins 1.1.3 is not compatible with JMeter version 2.9-. That's because there's a component used by JMeter-Plugins 1.1.3+ that is only present in JMeter 2.10+.
