I got the error below when navigating to Options/Plugin Manager.  Any help from you all is appreciated.

 

Failed to download plugins repository.
One of the possible reasons is that you have proxy requirement for Internet connection.

It looks like your company or ISP has a MITM certificate which substitutes the original certificate for the JMeter Plugins repository so you need to contact your network administrator or ISP support.

You can work around it yourself by

• downloading the certificate using your browser
• import the certificate into Java truststore
• configure JMeter to use this truststore via system.properties file

I appreciate it very much DT for your feedback.  Yes, I tried to navigate to Options/Plugin Manager from home and I was able launch it  but not from work.
