Error in XMPP sampler --- SmackException$ConnectionException

Hello Dmitri

I'm following blazemeter XMPP load testing blog and trying to connect to below free sample web server. 
Server url : wss://socketsbay.com/wss/v2/1/demo/

I have Jmeter - 5.6.2 and added XMPP protocol support from here

jbosh-0.8.0
jmeter-plugins-cmn-jmeter-0.4
smack-bosh-4.0.7
smack-extensions-4.0.7
smack-core-4.0.7
jmeter-plugins-xmpp-1.4.0
jmeter-plugins-manager-0.20

When I try connect to , I'm getting below SmackException. 
Any pointers on how to resolve this?

XMPP and WebSockets are absolutely different beasts, you cannot use XMPP Sampler for testing WebSockets as it uses completely different protocol under the hood.

Take a look at JMeter WebSocket Samplers project and JMeter WebSocket Samplers - A Practical Guide if you want to play with WebSocket performance testing.
