Hello,

I have contacted the hoster again and expressed our frustration for recent failures. They promise to look for a permanent solution to recent outages.

Hi,

Does anyone know when this site will be back up again?  Also does anyone know of a work around I can put in place for future reference if this occurs again?

Many Thanks

It’s really terrible that an open source tool like this has such a huge dependency on a server that it wont even run a simple load test when the server is down. Is there really no workaround for this? Are we at the mercy of a host provider? It has been down for more than 14 hours now. Please Andrey, a lot of us have tight deadlines to meet. we need more options than just wait till host provider fixes it.

Any ETA on this issue? Is there a workaround to download the JARs from an alternate source while the site recovers?

Hello!
I will be a novice user of Jmeter.   is this common where jmeter-plugin server becomes unavailble?   I can imagine it can be counter productive.   As everyone else anxiously waiing to have it available nd have it stay up with redundncy.

Thank you all for your comments.

We are looking to determine what plugins we use like the jmeter-plugins-json-2.7.jar and upload that to our docker run (blazemeter/taurus) but I expect there are some blazemeter plugins that install at runtime that I'm not aware of. Does anyone else know what I need and if this methodology should work?

So I have successfully fixed my scenario by following the logs generated by blazemeter. It seems that the failure to connect to the is not a critical issue. The critical error occurs when it starts running but encounters missing plugin classes. Upon checking the /usr/local/Cellar/jmeter/5.6.3/libexec/lib/ext directory of my local jmeter installation, I located the required files. I included them in my Git directory where my test case resides, assuming they are part of the classpath. This solution appears to have resolved the problem, albeit with a brief delay due to the timeout for the unavailable website connection. Here are the files I added: jmeter-plugins-manager-1.9.jar, jmeter-plugins-json-2.7.jar, jmeter-parallel-0.12.jar. These were the files that worked for me. Reviewing your original jmeter script may help identify the necessary components. Additionally, I had to refer to the "modified" script created by blazemeter/taurus to ensure I had all the required elements. The jmeter.log file also provided valuable insights.

Hi,

It looks like the jmeter-plugins.org server is now back online.

I think the site should publish plug-ins to something like maven so that we can link it with tools like artifactory to cache.

The workaround is to specify alternate plugins repo URL via properties: jpgc.repo.address (https://github.com/undera/jmeter-plugins/blob/master/site/dat/wiki/PluginsManager.wiki?plain=1#L48).

Plugins are published to Maven. Only the plugins index is served from project website.
