Need help in recording Websocket application

Hi,

I need a help in recording a WebSocket application in Jmeter .I couldnt record the appication. Can someone please help or Is there an alternate way where I can capture it.

You can capture WebSocket requests using your browser developer tools or external sniffer tool like Fiddler or Wireshark

Once done you can export recorded requests in form of a HAR file

And finally you can generate a JMeter test plan from the HAR file using har-convertor-jmeter-plugin (this guy can be installed using JMeter Plugins Manager)

Hi, 

When I convert the har to JMX ,only the http requests of Websockets are displayed. It has only HTTP calls for making connections, how will the send / receive be simulated?

Have you enabled this checkbox before conversion? 

You will also need to have this plugin installed: JMeter WebSocket Samplers
