Location: Atlanta, GA

Mode of Work: Onsite

Contract Long Term

 

 

Job Summary: 

The Workday Integration Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining integrations between Workday and other internal or third-party systems. This role requires strong technical expertise in Workday tools and a solid understanding of Workday Payroll, Absence and Time Tracking business processes. 

Key Responsibilities:

Integration Development 

  • Design and build integrations using Workday Studio, Workday Orchestrate, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST).
  • Experience with converting Workday Studio to Orchestrate.
  • Maintain and monitor integration performance and resolve errors.
  • Ensure secure and compliant data exchange across systems.
  • Support data migration and transformation processes.

Requirements Gathering & Analysis

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements.
  • Translate requirements into functional and technical specifications. 
  • Participate in discovery workshops and process reviews. 

Testing & Documentation 

  • Conduct unit and integration testing.
  • Document integration designs, specifications, and deployment processes. 
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Support & Maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Payroll & Absence Integration Issues 
  • Interacting with third part vendors like MetLife, ADP & UKG. 
  • Provide training and support to end-users. 
  • Stay updated with Workday releases and best practices 

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Workday integrations. 
  • Proficiency in: 
    • Workday Studio
    • Workday Orchestrate 
    • EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) 
    • Core Connectors 
    • Web Services (SOAP/REST)
    • XML, XSLT, XTT 
  • Experience with Payroll, Absence & Time Tracking
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
