Greetings,
Hope you're cozy and safe on this wintry night.
You're invited to an evening with Harmony Bones on March 12! Here's the scoop:
Harmony Bones concert. Saturday, March 12, 8 p.m. Café 704, 704 Airport Boulevard, Ann Arbor. Donation: $8 or 2 for $15. Info: caf...@gmail.com, Web: cafe704.org
Harmony Bones is a quintet of long-time veterans of the Ann Arbor folk music scene: Jeanne Mackey, Tom Voiles and Linda Teaman (of Nutshell), Laz Slomovits (of Gemini), and Eric Fithian. The band offers a wide range of traditional, contemporary and original folk songs, with rich vocal harmonies and an array of folk instruments—guitar, flute, pennywhistle, fiddle, bass, banjo, percussion, sitar, accordion, and uilleann pipes! The name Harmony Bones comes from an acupuncture point that harmonizes imbalances and promotes clear thinking, seeing, and hearing.
