Here's what I'm up to this month:

• Rise Again Community Sing-along. Wednesday, 1/11, 7-8:30 pm. Join song leader Jeanne Mackey for a community sing-along from the ”Rise Again” songbook with lyrics to over 1200 songs--from Beatles to ballads, Dylan to Broadway. This month's theme: Songs of Peace & Freedom. Purchase the songbook at Crazy Wisdom, or use a store copy. Shower singers welcome! Suggested donation: $5. Crazy Wisdom Bookstore & Tearoom, 114 S. • Harmony Bones at Gifts of Art. Thursday, January 26, noon-1 pm.
  Harmony Bones is Laz Slomovits, Jeanne Mackey, Tom Voiles and Linda Teaman (of Nutshell), and Eric Fithian. We offer traditional, contemporary and original folk songs, with rich vocal harmonies and an array of folk instruments — guitar, flute, pennywhistle, fiddle, bass, banjo, percussion, and more! The band's name comes from an acupuncture point that harmonizes imbalances and promotes clear thinking, seeing, and hearing. Free. At University Hospital Main Lobby, 1500 E. I'm also teaching a class on The Zen of Meeting Facilitation on Wednesday 1/11 for UMICH and UMHS staff. Fun stuff!
