Hi JLSA Board,
Our final two events of the semester are coming up and we need your help!
First: Rabbi Wolff (from JGrads) will be coming this Wednesday, December 5 from 12:30-1:30 PM to give out menorahs and candles to students in the caf. I was thinking we could also give out chocolate Chanukah gelt. I can buy the chocolate over the weekend and leave it in the JLSA office, but I will NOT be able to be there on Wednesday. So before I confirm this date and time with R’ Wolff, I want to make sure that at least one or two board members will be present.
Second: Our Finals Study Break event is tentatively planned for Wednesday, December 12 from 12:30-1:30 PM. Depending on our budget, we may do pizza and/or donuts, and Rabbi Wolff says he’ll stop by then as well to give out menorahs to anyone else who wants. I can be there for that event (although I have a final at 1:30), but I also want to confirm that as many board members as possible can be there too.
Please email me (gila....@gmail.com) ASAP and let me know whether or not you can be there for these events! Good luck with studying!

Shavua tov! Thanks to those who did respond, but I really need to know if someone can commit to being there on Wednesday, December 5 – if not, I’ll have to ask R’ Wolff to come at a different time or a different day…

Amazing, thank you Gedaliah! Anyone else?

Okay, so far the only person who can be there this Wednesday is Gedaliah. Can anyone else make it? Gedaliah, do you mind doing it alone? Basically it would just be giving out chocolate coins (that I will leave in the office) while R’ Wolff gives out menorahs and candles. You can feel free to get any other volunteers if you want, or if you don’t feel comfortable we can try to figure out a different time that works for more people.

Awesome. I just confirmed the time with Rabbi Wolff. Can you meet him at the law school entrance? His cell phone is 917-753-9929.
