The Russian Federation is being fined $50,000 per day for failure to comply with an order of the US District Court for the District of Columbia directing Russia to return to Agudas Chasidei Chabad a collection of religious books, manuscripts, and documents (the "Schneerson Library and Archives") seized by Russia (part in 1917 and part in 1939) in violation of international law. Come hear Nathan Lewin discuss the story of his client Chabad's lawsuit against Russia.
