IMPORTANT - JLSA Board - need you on Monday 10/29

Hi, all:

I know there is a lot of JLSA stuff happening in a short amount of time, but Gila and I need as many of you as possible to help out with the upcoming ADL Middle East Conference this coming Monday, 10/29 in McNally.  As a reminder, the ADL is hosting a panel of speakers on "political Islam in a new Middle East" and JLSA is co-sponsoring it.  The actual event is starting at 6:30 on Monday.  Even if you can't register to attend the event, we need you to volunteer before or during.  The facilitators need assistance with either:

(1) handing out programs from 5:45-6:35 PM;

or

(2) collecting index cards (with questions for the panel) from the audience throughout the event.

Please email back ASAP letting us know which one you can do.  If you don't have class at 6, Gila and I very seriously request that you make yourself available to assist.  The ADL has been really helpful to us since last semester's MLSA/BDS "incident" and put on a fantastic workshop event for us last week.  They need our help with this, so let's please make it happen.
