Hi all,
As you guys know, our Shabbat Dinner is going to take place on November 9. Due to the time change, Shabbat is going to start at 4:25 PM. The earliest we can have the food delivered is going to be 2 or 3 PM, which means that we need to figure out a way to keep the food warm until then. We cannot use any open flame in Room 430, which means we can’t use sternos. So our only option is to set up a warming tray or hot plate before Shabbat starts and have a security guard unplug it for us after dinner. If you have a warming tray (blech) or hot plate that we can use, please let me know ASAP! Thanks!

No, I haven’t yet but I can do that now (and change the FB event). Do you think we should call it for 5:30?

Subject: Re: Big Favor for Shabbat Dinner!
Gila- were you able to send out a new invitation with the earlier time for the dinner?
--
Wont 530 be kinda early? Maybe comproise woth 6?
--
Well, it’s just that Shabbat is starting so early (4:25 PM). The email draft changing the time to 5:30 is in the JLSA Gmail – as soon as we decide on a time I can either send it or edit it again and send.

Maybe cocktails and apetizers at 530 & dinner at 6?

Yeah, I guess we could call cocktail hour for 5:30 and start dinner later – Hannah, what do you think?
