Sunday night September 25, 2011 at the Make-Out Room a stellar cast of
musicians will be playing the music of Neil Young all night long. I'll
be more specific as to details as the time approaches, but I can tell
you Kelly Stoltz and Paula Frazer are just *two* of the wonderful
talents we have line-up for you. It's Justin, Kelly, and my 7th Annual
Birthday Tribute Show. You know how fun they get.
Now my good friend Eric has written up this request for me as I
struggle to get a proper version of The Lion's Jaw out across the USA,
to Europe, and to Asia. Please read on and help if you can. I will be
sending this out privately on Facebook as well, so forgive in advance
if you get double-tagged.
Much love,
JLL
The Jeffrey Luck Lucas The Lion's Jaw CD Release and General/Overall
Local Artist Support Fund
Here's your chance to put your money to good use. Your favorite
unsung, happy-go-lucky, artist/musician/moonlighting bartender,
Jeffrey Luck Lucas, needs your help. After three amazing and
successful albums, Jeff is on the brink of re-releasing his third CD
"The Lion's Jaw" for it's INTERNATIONAL, WORLDWIDE debut. Here's the
rub, Jeff needs a measly $1300 to print CD's for his record label to
distribute for press and promotion. Now, this may come as a shock to
you but Jeff's wages as your favorite up-beat and charming bartender
at The 500 Club don't cover the cost printing 1000 CD's in addition to
his rent and board. Oh yeah, here's the other "rub", he needs the
money in two weeks. Jeff's label is waiting for the copies of the CD's
to send out along with the press and promotion materials. That's
where your support is needed. If you love Jeff's music and/or his
Sam Malone-esque bar tending skills, make a donation the the "JLL, The
Lion's Jaw CD Release and General/Overall Local Artist Support Fund".
In return for your support, Jeff will give you a signed copy of the
newly redesigned THE LION'S JAW CD after it's general release, plus a
copy of his new record THE LOVE OF LEAVING which is in the final
stages of production.
According to Plato, "The man who arrives at the doors of artistic
creation with none of the madness of the Muses would be convinced that
technical ability alone was enough to make an artist...what that man
creates by means of reason will pale in comparison before the art of
the inspired beings." Jeff is that "inspired being".
