adding a status bar

Hi,

I am using jline3 in a system terminal. I would like to add a status bar (top or bottom of terminal).
Any suggestions how it can be done?

This is not supported out of the box.

However, you could have a look at the Tmux app (https://github.com/jline/jline3/blob/master/builtins/src/main/java/org/jline/builtins/Tmux.java).

It's not feature complete, but can provide you a status bar with a virtual terminal, so that it's completely transparent from the shell / applications.

You can launch it by using the "tmux" command inside the jline demo.

You could start from that and simplify if you want, the key point is the virtual terminal handling.

I've just spotted that the colors are wrong with the recent 3.6.0 release, so I'll try to fix those, but you can experiment with 3.5.x instead.
