Volunteer Placement update

Hi all! I know Tom emailed earlier that we still need volunteers, (and we do!) But I wanted to send an update as well.

Tracey is working hard to get everyone placed. It has taken longer than expected due to trying to maximize the nubmer of shifts for each person since we have a smaller number of volunteers.

Because we are still short she is also trying to move some people around to some different areas to fill those areas. Tom has found a few ways that we can cut down on some of our numbers so this should help.

Tracey will be working to finalize lists today and we will email you all tonight with your lists as well as the information that needs to be communicated to your volunteers. (I am going to help so look for an email from Tracey or myself.)

 

Please plan to spend some time tomorrow emailing info to your volunteers and following up by Sunday to make sure they received it.


I know we are getting down to the wire so we need to be sure that they receive the info. and can't just assume that they will show up.

 

We will include Volunteer meeting info, parking info etc.

** Note: We still need more volunteers so don't stop circulating the information! Another 30-50 people and we will certainly find a place for them!!

Hey all, maybe everyone could include in their email to their group of volunteers that we still need more people...perhaps those who are already committed would b able to get a friend or two to get involved..usually people r more likely to go if they know someone there, and since we've all no doubt approached everyone we know, our current volunteers might have a network that we haven't tapped yet.
