Hello,

I have modified a little bit this example for jQuery UI integration

http://www.bramstein.com/projects/jlayout/jquery-ui.html

and have now this one

http://fractalsoft.de/layout/tabLayout2.html

I use a border layout for the entire page and a flexGrid layout for
the west panel. You see three small panels on the left side. My
intention was to let panel's header stay (don't scroll), so that only
panel's content gets scrollbar (overflow: auto). This works, but I
have a problem that panel's header are not fine rendered if the page
is called first time (or if you push F5 for refresh). Headers are
smaller, but everything is ok after dragging the resizer on the left
side. Furthermore, if you do the browser smaller and then maximaze it,
you can see an empty space between panel's header and its content. But
how I said the layout looks well after resizing of the west panel.

What did I do wrong? Can you look into the source code please? I plan
to write JSF (JavaServer Faces) components based on the jLayout and to
launch a project for it on google.code.

Many thanks in advance!
Oleg.

Hi,

I think the problem is related to how the flex grid does layouts. It
tries to scale the components to keep the same ratio. This doesn't
work that well in column or row layouts where it is used most
commonly. It is on my to do list to rewrite the flex grid layout to
fix this problem, as I have run into it as well.
