Onload the north, east, and south columns are positioned / push out of
the window to the right. The center doesn't even show up. However,
physically resizing the browser window seems to help Safari achieve
the correct layout?

It seems I forgot to add a "display: inline-block" to all components
as required for Webkit based browsers. I mention this in a side bar
note halfway down the plugin page, but apparently forgot to heed my
own advice. I have added the CSS property to those examples, and they
now work fine in Safari 3 & 4. Thanks for reporting,
