Dear Devotees, The 2011 US tour has finally come to an end. I will be flying out of Dallas today morning, and out of Chicago in the afternoon. Will reach Delhi on 6th Nov evening and Mangarh on 7th evening.
The opportunity to reach out to so many wonderful people, and see them being uplifted by the power of bhakti and illuminated by the resplendence of Vedic knowledge has been very fulfilling. So, thanks to all those who came to drink from the fountain of Divine love, and inspired us by their presence in the programs.
And those who remained to become parts of the growing JKYog congregational families in their cities, I would like to say, “Welcome to this wonderful path of Divine Love and meditative Yog. Tread the path with dedication and enthusiasm, and within months you will experience the joy that comes from inner transformation.”
During the last seven months, we had 3 to 7 day programs in over thirty places, and four weekend retreats. This was made possible by the dedicated efforts of the JKYog volunteers. And so, the JKYog family would like to express its heartfelt gratitude to them for their hard work.
Spirituality is not a one-time effort, and if we are desirous of results, we must allot time for it on a daily basis. Here are some guidelines to incorporate in your daily schedule: · Do your spiritual sadhana for one hour every day. This can include meditation, kirtan chanting, prayer and arati. Endeavor to achieve success in the practice of roop dhyan meditation. · Devote another half to one hour for wellbeing of the body through the practice of Jagadguru Kripaluji Yog. This can also include a walk/run. · After completing your basic worldly duties, if you have any time remaining, use it judiciously. Use it for Shravan (hearing), Manan (contemplating), and Nididhyasan (internalizing) the gems of knowledge you receive from your spiritual teacher. Revise the knowledge from the books/cds/TV lectures, etc. · Create a spiritual environment around you that helps take your mind to God. Put up Divine pictures on the walls of your house. Keep the bhajan cds and Radio JKYog (the free 24-hour internet radio) playing in your free moments. · Make it a point to attend the JKYog congregational satsang, to enhance your enthusiasm in the sublime association of other like-minded devotees. · Practice experiencing the presence of God even while you do your worldly duties. The most significant events during my stay in India this time will be Shree Maharajji’s visit to Cuttack from January 12th to 18th. He will conduct a week-long retreat at the University ground. You are most welcome to come and join us there, if you are prepared to adjust in simple accommodation. And then will be the much awaited inauguration of Prem Mandir in Vrindaban, from February 15th to 17th, which will be attended by over 50,000 people. That will also be a momentous event to participate in.
Once again, best wishes to everyone!!! I look forward to coming back again next year and joining you all in relishing the bliss of Divine love for Radha Krishna.
In the service of God and Guru, Your ever-well-wisher, Swami Mukundananda |
