Special guest, Swami Nikhilanand will be returning to the southland
for another series of eastern spirituality programs for the month of
June. For those who attended the March programs this is a special
opportunity to deepen your understanding and practice of Divine Love
Consciousness meditation. For those who missed him in March this is an
opportunity to learn about an authentic Eastern spiritual path.
The March programs explored the very significant topics of the true
meaning and search for happiness, karma, destiny and reincarnation,
mysteries of life, psychic powers and the purpose and practice of
Divine Love meditation.
Each program is perfect for the beginner yet, with new topics, also
perfect for those who came before and learned some of the fundamentals
of this philosophy.
Each program begins with a beautiful prayer sung in Sanskrit, a
chanted kirtan meditation followed by a discussion on authentic
Eastern spirituality and concludes with more meditation guided by our
guest Swami Nikhilanand and some Q&A.
Swami Nikhilanand was born in Canada but realized early in life that
he was meant to seek a spiritual path. This quest eventually led him
to India where he met his spiritual teacher, Shree Kripalu Maharaj,
who instructed him in the path of Divine Love Consciousness as it has
been taught for time immemorial in India.
Soon after, Swami Nikhilanand became a renunciate (a monk with no
personal possessions or worldly ambitions) and now dedicates his time
and life exclusively to not only his own spiritual fulfillment but to
share this knowledge with others throughout the world. His programs
are humble, informative and his explanations, often quoted in
Sanskrit, are quite scientific, explaining the purpose of a spiritual
life and how to live a spiritual life while living in the modern
world.
