It is my great pleasure to inform you that the Kathmandu University
Medical Journal is going to organize a workshop entitled “Capacity
building for reviewing process of Scientific Writing in Nepali Journal.”
at Dhulikhel Hospital, Kathmandu University Hospital on 18th February 2016
with support from the International Network for the Availability of
Scientific Publications (INASP) and the Nepal Journals Online (NepJOL).

The objectives of this workshop are:
1. To acquaint potential reviewers about the basics of reviewing process
2. To provide proper knowledge about reviewing process to new reviewers
and broaden the knowledge of the existing reviewers
3. To improve the time and quality of reviewing process in Nepal
4. To improve the quality of scientific publications in Nepal
5. To develop a pool of trusted and experienced reviewers in different
disciplines in Nepal

There is no registration fee however, due to the limited places. I would
like to request you to send the name of one editor/reviewer from your
journal by 8th February 2016. KUMJ will provide transportation to the
participants within the Kathmandu valley and the reasonable travel cost
including accommodation to the participants from outside the valley. If
