Dear Abhinav Sir,
It indeed is a major problem we are facing right now. The major question is "How do we proceed now?"
One of the major problems we are dealing with is the peer reviewers unwillingness to review the articles apart from our own "inhouse" delay. It's the case with Dr. Tanka, Dr. Usha and Dr, Kiran's article. I think this is signifying us for the potential need to pay our reviewers in the days ahead.
Nevertheless, I think it would be better if we clear the desk within this week. We might have to work some extra hours to gain the pace.
Regarding my articles, here's the update:
1. Dr. Robin Joshi (stuck with plagiarism issues.I will corrrespond with the author regarding the major issues by today evening once I get back home)
2. Dr. Tanka Bohara ( I have resent the article to Dr. Arbin Joshi for peer review as he told me that he had not received our last e-mail)
3. Dr. Usha Karki (stuck on peer reviewer's side. Dr. Anjana Dangol didn't respond to our last e-mail. Need to search for a new reviewer)
4. Dr. Tseten and Dr. Pawana (Initial editing phase with me. I will manage these within 2-3 days)
Regarding new articles, could Aditi please kindly list what else needs to be taken by us? Lets divide them among ourselves and speed up the reviewing process.
One of the articles that I am aware of is Dr. Arbin Joshi's article on inguinal neurectomy as I know it has been there with us for a long time now. I will take this one. What else needs to be taken? Please let me know.
Lets all share the status of our articles including Kshitiz and Rika.
Thanks,
Aishana
