Noteif your product, service, or solution is interoperable or compatible with a Microsoft product, service, or solution. Communicate if your product, service, or solution goes through the approved certification process.

If your product, service, or solution integrates with a Microsoft technology, clearly communicate the relationship. For more information on this integration scenario, visit the guidelines for partner-led marketing under the Resources section below.

Microsoft expressly reserves the right in its sole discretion to terminate, revoke, modify, or otherwise change permission to use its Brand Assets at any time and expressly reserves the right to object to any use or misuse of its Brand Assets in any jurisdiction worldwide.

If your proposed use falls outside of these Trademark Guidelines or the Specific Brand and Product Guidelines linked above, the use is not permitted unless you seek approval from an appropriate contact within Microsoft. If you have a question, please contact your legal counsel, Microsoft business contact, or trade...@microsoft.com.

Create a partner logo (also called a badge) on your sales and marketing materials, and on your business profile in Partner Center. For partners who provide services, logos can showcase your Solutions Partner designation, specialization, or Azure Expert Managed Services Provider (AEMSP) and your Microsoft Action Pack subscription (MAPS). For partners who develop software, often referred to as Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), logos can showcase your Solutions Partner with certified software designation for solution areas or Industry AI.

Partner logos, award logos, and certified letters are aligned to your Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program membership. The logos and letters aligned to your membership will be available for you to create, save, and download.

It takes 24 hours for a change in your membership, such as new Solutions Partner designation, award, or other attainment, to appear in your membership account. If you don't see the desired logo in your library, make sure that 24 hours have elapsed.

For partners who develop software, often referred to as Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), logos can showcase your Solutions Partner[footnote 1] with certified software[footnote 2] for solution areas or Industry AI.

For Solutions Partner designations, you'll be able to access the relevant Solutions Partner designation based on the certified software designation or solution area designation you've attained. If you're a services partner who has attained all six solution area designations, you'll also be able to access the Solutions Partner for Microsoft Cloud logo.

You need to create a new badge for each Solutions Partner designation and specializations. Specializations can only be added to the Solutions Partner badge where it aligns. You can change the order in which specialization appears in your logo by using the up and down arrows.

You can use the up and down arrows next to the values to change the order in which the Solutions Partner designations and specializations appear (or competencies for the Legacy Competency certified letter).

(Footnote 1 go back) "Solutions Partner" refers to a company that is a member of the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program and may offer software, services, and/or solutions to customers. Reference to "Solutions Partner" in any content, materials, resources, web properties, etc. and any associated designation should be not interpreted as an offer, endorsement, guarantee, proof of effectiveness or functionality, a commitment or any other type of representation or warranty on the part of Microsoft. All decisions pertaining and related to your business needs including but not limited to strategies, solutions, partner selection, implementation, etc., rests solely with your business.

(Footnote 2 go back) A certification is (1) specific to the solution's interoperability with Microsoft products and (2) based on self-attestation by the solution owner. Solutions are only certified as of the date the solution is reviewed. Solution functionality and capability are controlled by the solution owner and may be subject to change. The inclusion of a solution in marketplace and any such designations should not be interpreted as an offer, endorsement, guarantee, proof of effectiveness or functionality, a commitment or any other type of representation or warranty on the part of Microsoft. All decisions pertaining and related to your business needs including but not limited to strategies, solutions, partner selection, implementation, etc., rests solely with your business.

I am currently making a trailer of my game for my college project, I would like to note that my game is cross platform. Do I need to ask for permission to use those images in such situation? - When I want to say that their game will be on playable on Windows/Mac/Linux.

Yes, as long as you have a signed logo license agreement with Microsoft. Microsoft has many logo programs to indicate compatibility with various software, products, and services. For your product to be eligible to display a Microsoft logo, you will be required to demonstrate Microsoft-defined performance and compatibility standards for your product or service. If you do not have a signed logo license agreement from Microsoft, you may not use any Microsoft logo to indicate compatibility with Microsoft software, products, or services.

It is okay to use Microsoft logos in school projects such as book reports, stories, or articles about or involving Microsoft or its software, products, and services. The project should be displayed, used in, or directed to an academic environment.

Couldn't find the right phrase for search but finally found it, "using corporation trademark". It seems you are allowed to freely use their logo's and trademarks as long as the product is really compatible with their software.

I do know if you happen to have an app available in the Mac App Store, iOS App Store, or Google Play, they have available banners at your disposal to post on your website. Microsoft used to have the Microsoft Compatibility logo available to Software Manufacturers that pass the hardware guidelines for said software. I know Apple is very meticulous about what kind of logos you can use, and they specifically have a press kit with different logos and resolutions.

@LBXComputers thanks for checking in! If you're using the Enterprise new tab experience then you can configure your company logo to appear on that page via the online admin center. You can read more about how to do that here: -us/office365/admin/setup/customize-your-organization-theme?view=o365-w...

@LBXComputers I built a GPO to only allow signins to Edge from certain domains. The end result is that the DOMAIN\User is blocked from being the default profile, and the user can select their Office 365 account as their signed in profile (and therefore sync). With a little work on the GPO, I can probably allow just about everything except domain\user format, so that users can use their personal Microsoft account for a personal profile, in addition to the work one. We have multiple domain names on our email, so I had to use a regex expression as it is to make this work.

The specific GPO I use to accomplish this is "Restrict which accounts can be used as Microsoft Edge primary accounts", mine is set to ".*@(domain1.comdomain2.comdomain3.com)" without the quotes. Some fancy "regex-ing" could probably make this more universal and still block the use of domain\username format, and prevent the AD account from grabbing the default profile.

@ChadRoth it would be nice if Edge were smart enough to not try and use the DOMAIN\User ID as the default profile, since that account can't sync. Since its the default profile, it makes life pretty annoying having to switch profiles all the time. My workaround works great, but most users won't know how to do this.

@LBXComputers You mentioned that your environment is hybrid AD joined and you are yet getting domain/username automatically signed in rather than your AAD account? That's pretty strange and we'd love to work with you to understand why this is happening. The intended behavior is that you should get signed in with your AAD. I'll message your privately to look into this. If anyone else is in this situation, please let me know.

Today, Microsoft is the other name of huge brand success. It has acquired such status and trust that people use its multiple software products daily. The Microsoft ecosystem includes brands such as Windows, Xbox, Skype, LinkedIn, Minecraft, and many more.

Microsoft is an IT giant today. Still, it started on a humble note in 1975 when Bill Gates and Paul Allen created the Company out of their interest in microprocessors and software. They started developing software for the Altair 8800, an early microcomputer designed by MITS based on the Intel 8080 CPU.

Not looking back since then, Microsoft is today the most prominent software firm in the world. It is known for its Windows operating system, Office suite, and Internet Explorer browser. The Company today has more than 166,000 employees across the globe. In the SaaS segment, it has a 17% market share.

Today, the Microsoft logo is a classic and timeless design that is likely to stay more or less the same for many decades. The design is precise, minimal, sleek, simple, and strong, conveying its brand message instantly.

A key feature of the Microsoft logo is that it is highly pleasing and eye-catching. It has a grid-like multicolored design, making it look classy and modern. You cannot ignore this colorful icon as it reminds you of your younger days using the computer.
