Our global R&D team is over 20,000 big, and has contributed to over 4000 patents world-wide of which over 600 have been filed by members of the Cisco India team.
Cisco Development Organization (CDO) is the Engineering group of Cisco that builds networking products for Enterprises, Service Providers and Consumers.
In India, CDO is over 4000 full time engineers working on a cutting edge technologies ranging from routing, switching, wireless, VoIP, security, operating systems and more.
Cisco India Internship Program
· We are looking for BE/BTech, ME/M.Tech, MCA, M.Sc students from Computer Science/IT/Circuit Branches with a flair for innovation and lateral thinking. Selected students will work onsite at Cisco Bangalore for 5-10 months between July 2011 and June 2012.
· Interns will be paid a stipend of Rs 28700 per month for UGs & Rs 35000 per month for PGs during the duration of the internship. During the internship, students will be collaborate with other interns as well as work closely with Cisco engineers on projects related to networking products and technologies. They will be mentored by senior members of the engineering team and will have opportunities to interact with several leaders from CDO.
· Students with deep knowledge of networking, demonstrated leadership and initiative, good communication skills would be ideal candidates. Good grades are desirable but not the sole criterion for selection.
Selection Process
· Kindly circulate this information to the students and ask them to apply against the different projects attached. Along with the resume they need to provide a write-up on the project they are interested in.
· We will screen the application and do the telephonic interview with the students.
· The selected students will be intimated soon and will be issued Intern Offer.
Please Note:
· Last date for Resume + Write-Up submission is 6th July, 2011. We will be starting the interviews from 7th July.
· Students need spend all 5 days with us during their internship(3 days/ 4 days a week is not allowed).
