By way of an update on the build, here's a photo of a more recent visit to Ebisuya, showing the installed Honjos, along with a Pletscher rack and re-wrapped handlebars.

I love this bike. It's speedy, nimble, and stable, as needed. All Purpose Bicycle, indeed.
