Save Options not responding

I have downloaded the extension but when I set my UN/PW and URL and click Save Settings nothing happens??? Any ideas on what the issue might be?

sadly i have no time for this extension now, but there's alpha version
of v2, you could check it out here: http://code.google.com/p/jira-chrome-extension/downloads/list
perhaps i've already solve this issue in this build
