Email not displaying correctly? View it in your browser.   AUGUST 9TH  2015 Dear Sisters,   It was wonderful to attend church today and see familiar faces and new faces.  So far we have four new sisters to welcome to our Relief Society: Kim Blattman, Linsee Christensen, Julie Cook, and Cheryl Parkinson.  Please extend a warm welcome to these new sisters and offer to help them figure out the intricacies of life in Shanghai.   I hope everyone has had a relaxing, productive and meaningful summer as we worked on our branch goals of having the best summer yet by incorporating those focus areas of Work, Worship and Wholesome recreation into our daily routines.  I know we enjoyed working on those in our family.  I look forward to seeing the rest of you return from your vacations.   I have attached the most recent Relief Society Directory at the end of this bulletin.  If your entry lacks a contact detail or a photo, email me and I will update your information.   This Week’s Lesson:  Combined Relief Society & Priesthood Chapter 14: Marriage and Family—Ordained of God Teachings of the Presidents of the Church: Ezra Taft Benson  “The Family is one of God’s greatest fortresses against the evils of our day.  Help keep your family strong and close and worthy of our Father in Heaven’s blessings." 1. The family is the most important organization in time and in eternity. 2. In happy marriages, husbands and wives love and serve God and each other. 3. Strong families cultivate love, respect, and support for each family member. 4. The home is the best place for children to learn the principles and practices of the gospel. 5.
